Quotation Baikowski CEO for France 2030 France 2030 aims to lead the country in decarbonization by achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, and plans to allocate 30 billion euros to support initiatives that accelerate the ecological transition.

🏆 We are thrilled to share that Baikowski®’s ABC (Alumine Bas Carbone/ Low-Carbon Alumina) project has been chosen as a winner of the France 2030 call for projects, following our previous achievement of being awarded “Expedite the industrial transition” in 2022.

This prestigious recognition goes to our collaborative effort with ECM Technologies – Industrial Furnaces, Saint-Gobain and Institut Charles Gerhardt Montpellier (ICGM Montpellier) to develop a revolutionary low-carbon alumina powder manufacturing process.

The ABC project directly addresses the industry’s decarbonization goals by creating a new, fully electrified process that can significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% to 70%!

🌍 Moreover, this innovation is crucial for the production of oxide-oxide composites (Ox/Ox CMC) – lightweight and high-strength materials critical for the energy transition. This local production approach strengthens French industry’s competitiveness on a global scale and caters to the growing demand for sustainable materials.

🌱 At Baikowski®, we believe that innovation and sustainability are inseparable.
Winning the France 2030 call for projects reaffirms our commitment to driving positive change in the industry.

We are immensely proud of our dedicated teams and grateful for the support of public authorities in realizing our vision for a carbon-free future.

Together with our partners, we look forward to capitalizing on these opportunities and contributing to a greener future!
